What is MRR? A short definition.

1 minute reading time

Monthly recurring revenue (MRR) is a calculation of revenue generation by month. It is considered the “holy grail metric” by many Software-as-a-Service companies because it provides an accurate picture of the company’s income health. A more detailed analysis of monthly recurring revenue is possible by segmenting it into new business MRR, expansion MRR, and churned MRR.
