What is a Heatmap? A short definition.

A heatmap is a visual representation of the website which gives an indication of which items on a web page are best viewed. Providing insight into these “hotspots” contributes to the conversion of a website. In many cases, web designers use heatmaps when applying comparative (A/B) testing.
